We’ve got two ANTaR events coming up – we’d love to see you.

1. Beyond the Intervention – come hear our guest speakers

With the Northern Territory due to expire next year, it’s a good time to talk about what comes next.  There’ve been much discussion and criticism of the Intervention.  We’d like to spend an evening talking about positive solutions, building on community’s strengths.  This is the David Hunter Memorial lecture – our flagship event for the year. We’ll be hearing from two experts in the field:

John Paterson, Chief Executive Officer for (Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance of the NT
Jon Altman from the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research, Australian National University

2. Annual newsletter mailout – volunteers needed

We’re about to send out our annual newsletter, and more hands to help with the envelopes and folding would be much appreciated. We all pitch in, and it’s always a good time to get to know the other volunteers.

It’ll be over two days at Jeanette’s house
