A short newsletter to start the year. Our focus for January will be the Aboriginal Tent Embassy event on Sovereignty Day, 26 January.

The Aboriginal Tent Embassy Sovereignty Day rally celebrates Generations of Resistance – a Cultural Gathering honouring our people who paved the way! Resisting for 238 years!

Assemble at Garema Place at 9:30am, Monday 26 January, walking to the Aboriginal Tent Embassy.

18th Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations

There will be a breakfast event at Parliament House to mark the 18th anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations.

Date: Friday 13 February 2026

Time: 7:00am arrival for 7:30am start; (9:30am finish)

Venue: The Great Hall, Parliament House

ANTaR ACT Organising Group
