Tidbinbilla Reconciliation week – Walk the Talk

Dear all

This Reconciliation week, Reconciliation Australia and ANTaR ACT invite you to (re)discover Tidbinbilla in the company of a Ngunnawal Country Ranger.

Saturday 2 June  10 am – 12.30 pm – Tidbinbilla, Tidbinbilla Road – Entry fees apply.

WALK THE TALK This year’s theme for Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) is Let’s Talk Recognition so why not take the opportunity to come on a walk to Hanging Rock with the Ngunnawal Country Ranger. Learn about the cultural landscape of the area and discover how native resources were traditionally used. Then afterwards take part in hands on activities and talks around the campfire at Ribbon Gum theatre with Murumbung Yurung Murra, Reconciliation Australia and ANTaR. Bring water, sturdy footwear, hat and sunscreen and lunch if you’d like to stay on afterwards and soak up the atmosphere. Meet at the Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre. Suitable for families.

Bookings essential. Phone: 6207 0078 or 0401 778 009
