ANTaR ACT and others have lobbied the ACT Government to fund a role to help Indigenous people navigate the ACT justice system, and help them gain access to restorative justice programs (which are often alternatives to incarceration). The funds announced also cover payment for Galambany Circle Sentencing Court panel members. This is extremely encouraging, and we look forward to seeing how this role works. Look forward to seeing you at the film. Kind regards, Matt Fenwick |
