Volunteers Needed:
Free tickets to Canberra Raiders vs St George Illawarra Dragons “Close the Gap round’ match at GIO Stadium, 1pm Saturday 16 August
Volunteers are urgently required to:
• Encourage football goers to sign the Close the Gap pledge.
• Answer questions about the Close the Gap campaign.
• Distribute printed materials describing the NRL- Close the Gap partnership to individuals attending the football.
You are welcome to remain to watch the match. This is part of Oxfam’s ‘Close the Gap’ campaign.

Optus Rock Corps Volunteer Program
Oxfam has also recently formed a partnership with the Optus Rock Corps.
Individuals who volunteer will be offered either a $70 Ticketmaster Voucher or a ticket to an exclusive gig.

ANTaR ACT stall at Canberra Blues & Roots Festival, 14-16 November, EPIC
ANTaR ACT has been offered the opportunity to distribute our information and sell publications, and Indigenous music and craft items. ANTaR National NEWS
ANTaR National has a new national director, Andrew Meehan. Andrew previously worked with Oxfam Australia, leading their Indigenous rights advocacy and policy area. His work included playing a leading role in promoting constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
